HealthAlliance is New Zealand’s largest healthcare provider spanning a geographical area of close to 20,000 square kilometres and almost 40% of the country’s population.
KMC helped healthAlliance move from its traditional models into one where business transformation is enabled through the adoption of transformational mindset and practices associated with Lean, Agile, and DevOps.
The healthAlliance Digital and Mobility division supports over 2000 applications and the change and support requirements associated with them.
Beginning with the existing teams, KMC rolled out new ways of working based around Lean and Agile ways of working, but which also catered for the needs of teams to be involved in support and operations.
The successful adoption of these approaches led naturally to KMC being involved in aligning healthAlliance projects into the same transformation ways of working, adopting agile for key projects and establishing Lean-Agile and DevOps methodologies firmly in the organization.
